The wine world is diversely rich in flavors and aromas. However, when it comes to the faces behind the bottles, the wine industry, though slowly growing in diversity, has a long way to go in diversifying bottle placement in retail stores, hotels, airports, airlines and restaurants.
We are excited to share this opportunity hosted by local Seattle members to celebrate the diversity in wine.
You’re invited to experience “Diversity Behind the Bottle” and consider placement on your hotel banquet, bars and restaurants menu from 3- 5 p.m., Jan. 23, 2025, in downtown Seattle at the Renaissance Hotel (515 Madison St, Seattle, WA 98104).
This is an opportunity for decision-makers (general managers, sales managers, banquet managers) to taste various wines from Black winemakers and give serious consideration to add a wine to your inventory.
Tasting
3– 4 p.m.
We will provide various varietals from up to five winemakers and wineries. You will be able to take notes on the wines
Introduction and Q&A
4– 5 p.m.
Get to know the faces behind the bottle. Ask distribution questions (quantity, etc.). Can they meet your needs? Are you flexible for growth and timing?
Wrap up
5 p.m.
Let’s make commitments. Leading up to this day, you already have an appreciation for diversity. Now you can take the next step and commit today to diversify your inventory.
